COVID protocol in Hawai’i
The State of Hawai‘i Safe Travels Hawai‘i program is a multilayered process designed to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 in our community from trans-Pacific passengers arriving at airports/ports across the Islands. For anyone planning travel to the Hawaiian Islands, it is important to be aware of new and enhanced State of Hawai‘i Safe Travels Hawai‘i program entry requirements prior to departure. The State of Hawai‘i is in alignment with federal international requirements. There are no additional State of Hawaiʻi requirements for passengers flying directly into Hawaiʻi from an international destination. The airlines will screen passengers prior to their departure to the U.S. International passengers entering the U.S. from another state or territory will be treated as domestic travelers when entering the State of Hawai‘i. This enhanced entry into Hawai‘i includes the Mandatory State of Hawai‘i Travel and Health Form, temperature screening at all Hawai‘i airports upon arrival, a pre-travel testing program, and a vaccination exception program for domestic, U.S. passengers. The information that follows will help make the process efficient.
NOTICE: To avoid mandatory quarantine, the Vaccination Exemption Program is an option for those who have been vaccinated. Details at https://hawaiicovid19.com/travel/faqs/ . The State of Hawai‘i will ONLY accept Nucleic Acid Amplification Test (NAAT) from a certified Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendment (CLIA) lab test results from TRUSTED TESTING AND TRAVEL PARTNERS, including any tests verified through the State’s Digital Health Pass Partners – AZOVA, CLEAR and CommonPass. For the full list of Domestic trans-Pacific, International and airline partners, go to TRUSTED TESTING AND TRAVEL PARTNERS.

Cancellation and Payment Balance:
Please note that because we are limited to a small number of attendees, to allow for a more personable, intimate experience, our cancellation policy is in place to help guests and us alike work together sharing expenses that may arise from unexpected cancellations.
- HOLD DEPOSITS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.
- Hold deposits (minus $100 USD relisting fee) are transferable to another attendee found and assigned by the original attendee.
- Full balance due before the start date of retreat on April 1st 2024 unless otherwise noted.
- Cancellation requests submitted within 90 days of retreat date, 50% of total amount (less deposit) will be refunded.
- Within a month of your retreat: sorry but no refunds given, no exceptions.
No one books a retreat with the intention of cancelling it, but unexpected events do occur, so please consider purchasing travel insurance (see below) and that it is your responsibility to read and understand our cancellation policies. Exceptions cannot be made for any reason, including weather, injury/illness, or personal emergencies. No refunds or credits for failure to attend or failure to complete the retreat, or for arriving late or leaving early. We recommend that you purchase your own travel insurance. We encourage you to purchase trip cancellation insurance in order that your trip fees will be covered should you or your family have a medical problem prior to your trip or while on the trip.
COVID Travel Update
Please note that if the retreat has to be postponed based on border closures then a credit for a guests’ hold deposit will be issued to be used for the postponement date. If the retreat happens as scheduled, but a guest decides not to attend based on any other reason than a country's border closure, then the regular cancellation policy (stated above) will be maintained.
If travel around the world is still being disrupted as the retreat nears, the final balance due date will be postponed until a final decision is made at the 1-month mark before the start date.
